Cookie Policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Veltrix AI ("we", "us") uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our AI product research platform. It supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside it.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, understand how visitors use the service and deliver a secure, personalised experience. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage and pixels.
2. Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Service to function. They enable secure authentication, maintain your session, prevent fraud and protect the Service. You cannot opt out of these because the Service would not work without them.
- Functional cookies — remember choices you make, such as your billing preference (monthly/yearly) or whether you have dismissed a notice, so you do not have to re-enter them during your visit.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors interact with the Service, which features are used most and where we can improve performance. These may be set by third-party analytics providers.
- Marketing and advertising cookies — used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, limit how often you see an ad, and understand which campaigns bring users to the Service. We only use these where you have given consent.
3. Why we use them
- To keep you signed in and protect your account through our authentication provider.
- To process payments — our Merchant of Record, Paddle, uses cookies and similar technologies to manage checkout, fraud prevention and subscription billing.
- To remember your preferences such as plan toggle selections and dismissed banners.
- To measure and improve the Service through aggregated usage and error analytics.
- To deliver relevant marketing where you have consented to it.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted third parties that provide services on our behalf. These include:
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record for checkout, subscription management, invoicing and payment security.
- Supabase — our authentication and database provider, which sets strictly necessary session cookies.
- Analytics providers — where enabled, to collect aggregated usage data.
These third parties process data under their own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review them.
5. How long cookies last
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. Authentication and preference cookies typically last for the duration of your active session up to a few weeks, depending on your "remember me" settings.
6. Managing your cookie preferences
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or warn you before a cookie is placed. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core features of the Service.
For analytics and marketing cookies, where we use a consent mechanism you can update your choice at any time through the cookie banner or settings link in the footer. If you do not see a banner, we are not currently using non-essential cookies that require consent.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not currently respond to these signals because there is no consistent industry standard for doing so. You can control cookies directly through your browser settings as described above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal and operational reasons. Material changes will be notified by email or through a notice on the Service.
